Michalis is a creative entrepreneur. He is the founder and CEO of MSCOMM, a multi-awarded integrated communications agency. His vision to create an ecosystem that promotes entrepreneurship and start-ups focused mainly on their extroversion has lead him two years ago to the establishment of Industry Disruptors – Game Changers (ID-GC). Since 2012 he is the host and coordinator of the Global Entrepreneurship Week in Greece and Cyprus. He has also been active in the political arena, serving as a coordinator for the Ministry of Infrastructure, Transport and Networks, for the Ministry of Public Order and Citizen Protection and for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He has previously served as a Special Research Fellow of the Ηistorical Archives of the Foreign Ministry and the Institute of International Relations, Panteion University.
He acts as a Communication Consultant for the Representation of the European Commission and for the Information Office of the European Parliament in Greece. He is a member of the Board of the Federation of Hellenic Associations of Young Entrepreneurs (OESYNE), mentor of the European network Business Mentors, and member of the Task Force of the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE), the Global Executive Forum’s Economist Intelligence Unit, the European Institute of the LSE and elsewhere.
He was the creator and editor of “Open MBA”, a weekly section of the newspaper “TA NEA”. He has worked for newspaper “KATHIMERINI”, Flash 9.61 radio, MEGA Channel, the magazine “Ekonomikos Tachidromos”, while he has also been published in Greek and foreign publications.
Michalis has studied Political Sciences, Communication and European Studies at theLondon School of Economics, under scholarships by the Institution of Promotion of Journalism Athanasiou Vas. Botsi and the Journalists Union of Athens Daily Newspapers. He has been honored by the Balkan Military Medical Committee.
